Great Airport Pick-up from the Hotel for 400EGP plus 30-50EGP Tip for driver. The place is in a small side street in a private secured 5store house. From the roof top you have view to the pyramids. Up there they serve also the morning breakfast. The Royal Inn is run by 3 brothers and their wifes so you feel like in big family👍🥰 A great sunsine you have at the roof top. The owners are extremely polite and courteous they help you also with tours to book. Rambo helped us with ATV/Quad Sunset Tour. The room will be cleaned by request. The WIFI in the room was fast. You are at walking distance from the Pyramids Entrance (Ticket 240EGP for tourists and 40EGP for locals). Lot's of local offering trips or activities like horse or camel riding behind the house or inside the Pyramids also ATV/Quad bikes (advice to negotiate the prices f.e. 1hour horse or camel riding they may ask you 350 --> 500EGP per person and you may get it for 150 - 250EGP per hour/person). Those who like to try egyptian cuisine you can find a lot after or near the big road. Also Indian and some European restaurant. Taxis and private cars also avalable near by to rent included driver: Daily Price about 1000EGP = 40USD for 6 - 8hours to visit Cairo. We come back again Rene and Liz IG: renepeter57 👍🥰

First of all, I'd like to thank Hussein for hospitality and help. He arranged our transfer from airport to the hotel and back to Cairo where we went after Giza. Hussein also arranged our one-day trip to Alexandria and gave some advices what we could see during such a short trip. Before visiting Pyramids he told us what we should not do to avoid harassment from "local guides". The hotel is located on a small side street in a five-storey building and can be easily found. Good security – each guest has a key from entrance gates. No bad smells from street or traffic noise. Sometimes you may hear cats or dogs in the mornings but for us it was not an issue. We stayed for 3 days in December in room 403 on the 4th floor. The room was clean and comfortable with very good bed and pillows. There was a boiler in the bathroom so no problems with hot water. Good breakfast was served on the rooftop with magnificent view of Pyramids and Great Sphinx. A lot of souvenir shops, café and restaurants nearby but be aware that none of them served alcohol. I can definitely recommend Royal Pyramids Inn for stay while visiting Giza.

I wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel but I couldn’t be any happier with the place. The room had 2 good sized beds and a sofa bed which accommodated the 5 of us (2 adults 3 children) the welcome from the staff was warm and we were given our room, fresh bottles of water and set up with WI-FI. I wanted to get some food and snacks from around and Rambo walked me round to a Pizza Hut and convenience shop for extra snacks. The room was very nice with TV, fridge, great Air Con and Balcony. The roof terrace was the crown jewel where we sat and ate our dinner and watched the light show on the 3 pyramids as close as you can get. What an absolute jaw dropping experience and very relaxed casual and friendly. I was also arranged a cheap taxi to the airport in the morning with a wake up call. Would love to go back in a heartbeat. Thanks again Rambo for your kindness and hospitality.

The breakfasts were not too plentiful, but they were sufficient and tasty, served on the hotel rooftop with a view of the pyramids — which would basically make up for even an unappetizing breakfast :) The entire staff was always extremely polite and helpful, providing service of a high standard. The bedroom had air conditioning, though unfortunately the fridge wasn’t working — but there are shops with cold drinks just below the hotel. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The hotel is located just a 3-minute walk from the entrance to the Giza complex. The area is quiet and away from traffic. Our stay was during Ramadan, so life started in the evening and continued until late, but it didn’t disturb our rest. There was always hot water, the room was cleaned, and towels and bed linen were changed.

Royal Pyramids Inn was our oasis in the desert during our stay in Giza. The hotel staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They were always doing everything possible to be sure we had the best stay. They went above and beyond to help us by answering questions about Egypt. I got sick one day and they personally escorted us to get some fruits, water and went to the pharmacy to pick up and deliver some medicine. They went so above and beyond. Truly amazing people who really care about their customers. I have stayed many places around the world and never had such incredible customer service. The air conditioning was live-saving in the heat. The view of the pyramids is incredible and something we will remember for the rest of our lives. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone visiting the area.
